The Nigerian Senate, today, passed Niger Delta Development Commission budget of N241,114,000,000 (Two hundred and forty one billion, one hundred and fourteen million naira).

The passed budget was cut down by N19 billion from the N260 billion earlier presented by President Muhammadu Buhari to the Senate.

They can go and share the money as usual then come up with half done project and still blame president for their inefficiency.

Hmm! But I don't think this will bring lasting solution to our problems. What we need now is to practice Federalism or Confederation system of Government.

I would have preferred d FG 2 even request 4 projects from d Governors, & fund d projects directly instead of giving d money 2 dem... After all, @ d end, if nothing is done, dey start blaming d FG

This is the only time i expect NDDC funds to be utilized judiciously under the leadership of Semintari under the watchful eyes of Amaechi

To me that commission should be scrap instead government should do developmental projects. Allocating more fund to that commission will create room for fraud
