It is an understatement if we say electricity plays some role in our daily activities.

Our homes are filled with gadgets that become empty boxes without power.

Our phones, laptops, freezers, microwave oven, washinh machines, home theatres, name them

All these items are supposed to make our lives comfortable and decent

How about the offices? A lot of organisations are groaning under the burden of buying diesel daily in order to operate.

From my experience, I can authoritatively say that from Abuja to Enugu to PortHarcourt to Lagos and Ibadan, electric power is as epileptic as the trafficating light of a car

This is why I want you great nairalanders to shed more light on this

Have you been having steady light in your domain?
Are you not like me who is burning more than 5k a week on generator?

Then
Is steady power a mirage in Nigeria?
Is there no solution to this power problem?

So people, over to you..as you have seen, share your experience as regards power AND also your thoughts about a solution to this highly important power issue.

It seems I don't stay in Nigeria then cos the light in my area is constant. If there is even power outage, it wont take up to 5mins before they return it.
For the doubting thomases, come to Itu road in Uyo.
Kudos to the Port Harcourt electricity distributing company. Dem try for us. grin

Very possible honestly
let states produce power individually
and see how it will improve
federal government needs to let go, one person cant do everything
for 5 days now i get 2hrs of light per day

fuel @ 145 that evaporates like gas. I dunno if it's the quality or the weather that's causing it

But don't we think that with stable power, our economy will be better for it?

It's uninterrupted power here in Okada, Edo State.

We the students of Igbinedion University are beginning to enjoy our school fees since Sir Gabriel Igbinedion commissioned the power plant in his native community.

Okada happens to be the home town of the Igbinedion's whose son(Lucky) ruled Edo state for eight years.

God bless the Igbinedions.

What you and I think or feel is immaterial cos Buhari has sworn to fight corruption at all cost.

As for me I don't see it happening for next nine years because our government never learn to do what is right.
Always repeating same mistake.
Especially this buhari's government which have distributed the worst electricity so far.
Jonathan's government was one of the best when it comes to electricity distribution.
Don't quote me negatively, I just spoke my mind

Any real investor with foresight ought to have left Nigeria after the first 8 months of Buhari government.

I would've supported a holistic corruption fight and not the fuckery ongoing in the name of corruption fight.
