goodday pals, with my little research, i learnt that you are to run a two year program in nigeria and later futher in any of their affiliate universities abroad, except you are offering seperate diploma programs. please i will like to ask a few questions concerning this institution.
-i want to know what kind of compatible courses selection one can make in their curriculum.
-can i select any of the two year ( four semester courses), transfer to their affiliate institutes and still enjoy the same study curriculum as those that completed their two year courses here in nigeria and transfered?
-can i use my aptech diploma certificate granted in nigeria for any form of job hunt?
-what is the name of the certificate awarded by their affiliate institutes abroad on completion of the course corriculum?
-does aptech institution grant any form of scholarship to ease, paying for the study.
-are they competing istitutions one can enroll in as alternatives?
please! anyone in this feild, guide me.

yes that,s true, i did my aptech and moved to mauritius to complete it till i started work here as intern,yes you can i transfered my to MiddleSex University , like i said they are going to use to MiddleSex Univeristy to process work permit and Aptech as proof of skills becaise its related to the job,my certificate carries Business Information System and Conputer Info Sys.scholarship not 100% had a price slash becaise i passed their exam. yes they are competitin because now my friends will serve for nysc, and it also helped in getting a job over here with that being said, now back to the real truth, the certificate doesn,t automatically grant you a job it only gives a better opportunity so you still have to know your thing. because i wrote a test to be employed regardless of the certificate i had, the only advantage was that it created the avenue to stand out. you still have to work hard there,s no subtitute for that, companies will readily pick any candidate that looks good regardless of the certificate, i don,t want you to fall for marketing tricks of aptech that once u have the paper its automatic employment cause i met alot of lazy students at aptech. however you should talk to worldbest here he,s an Aptech student and a freaking genius.

The accp(Aptech Certified Computer Professional) leads to one having a diploma in Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering (Adse) and as all diplomas in Nigeria can be used for employment but remember it is only a diploma and can't get you the best jobs out there.

With this diploma one can use it to get admission into the Universities outside the country and with the affiliation/relationship aptech has established with a number of these Universities eg Middlesex etc one can proceed straight into the final year of this universities and be awarded a degree when he/she has completed the programme @ the universities.

Now the Accp course is made up of the popular programming languages and computer courses eg Java,C#,VB,Networking etc . Now you can still do this courses as a stand alone course @ aptech but once you have elected to do the accp course you are required to take them up and write exams for each module that makes the accp Course.

As for scholarship I do not have any idea of how other aptech centres do thiers but where I did my accp course(I just finished @ the Calabar Centre and should be proceeding to Middlesex London by January)there was none on offer except the one I have been offered @ Middlesex London which is 20% of the total fees.

As regards other competiting institutions I believe Niit has a similar course Mcitp if I recall correctly, the calabar centre (Niit) closed down so I didn't have much of a choice than Aptech. And as all courses anyone studies, success in it is up to the effort you put in.

That's all I can tell you for now and has someone had suggested earlier you call any of the centres of interest and speak with a rep of the centre.

Dont know how much it would cost now, as I have not asked nor been to the place in months.(Sorry, I do not remember how much i paid exactly but it was a little above a million, because I took the fast track route. 950k for normal fees and somewhere between N1,050,000- N1,150,000 if one wanted the fast track route in Calabar. )

-how was the experience of aptech.

Really poor at Aptech Calabar, as they had shortage of faculty staff(lecturers) amongst other issues. I had friends who moved from Calabar to Lagos to finish their studies with Aptech. Of course they had better experiences, so I would prefer you use centers in Lagos.

I dont really understand this question, but if you mean paying an initial sum before starting, yes I did.
