Position – I.C.T Teacher

Position Summary: Information Communication Technology (I.C.T) Teacher is responsible for teaching and learning by students of an assigned in line with the approved teaching scheme/plan for the class/subject.

Duties:

• Conduct class/subject teaching activity in line with approved teaching scheme, plans and policies
• Monitor learning by students and provide feedback on the appropriateness and completeness of teaching scheme and plans
• Identify pupils with special learning needs and liaise with Remedial teacher to develop appropriate remedial responses
• Maintain discipline in classes, apply approved sanctions for misdemeanors only and escalate all major issues promptly to the Sectional or Deputy Head.
• Provide overall pastoral care and oversee development of individual students
• Grade students’ tests and examinations
• Monitor and report on an ongoing basis individual student progress and accomplishments
• Establish and maintain contact with parents/guardians as necessary to provide feedback on performance and ensure responsiveness to individual students needs
• Contribute to maintaining good teaming and collaborative environment in Corona Schools

Requirements: B.Sc./B.Sc (Ed) in Computer Science with at least 2 years of teaching same subject.

my friend has similar experience that is y I'm asking, he dust everybody just to get to the final stage to meet the proprietor and turn him down because he has HND.

yes na, YOUR FRIEND doesn't have what you have. Ok let me shock you. I have HND from Ondo Poly and i went for interviews with oau/unilag graduates and ended up getting the jobs o, i only left the jobs for my personal business demands that were increasing daily. brother, it is how to speak to them and how you confront issues that matters o, what happen to someone else is not a must it should be your fate o. trial is better than regret. I have taught in British International School lekki and guess what i was in 300 level at the time looking for where to do I.T as a computer Science student o but i told them i was in 300 level and the white man said its not certificate they need but WHO KNOWS the job they are looking for. and that the HARD TRUTH and i was sent into a class to teach for 15 minutes and the students accessed me with a questionnaire and that was how i proved myself. . DONT FOCUS ON THE PAST PLS TRY AGAIN.
