Aisha Buhari Travelling To US With Diplomatic Passport by RICHIEBOI1(m): 4:54pm On Jun 27, 2016
gainst expectation of Nigerians, Aisha Buhari, the wife of Nigerian president may be visiting the United States Of America (USA) for the world first lady conference hosted by Michelle Obama. A close aide of Mrs Buhari, confided to Hope For Nigeria that Mrs Aisha Buhari have concluded plans to travel to the United States of America with a Nigeria Diplomatic passport and a Diplomatic designation, to avoid any arrest by the US government department over her alleged role in the Halliburton bribery case.
Aisha Buhari who is currently in Saudi Arabia for the lesser Haij was advised to use a diplomatic passport to travel for the conference as her safe return to Nigeria will technically be a good proof that she is not the named Aisha Buhari indicted by the US Justice department on the Halliburton case.
At the time of this post, the wife of the Nigerian President is still apprehensive about making the journey to the US, as she is frighten by the fact that the US government may Jettison the Diplomatic immunity and institute a criminal proceeding against her.
Her advisers are desperate pushing for her to visit the US as a diplomat and use that as an alibi against those claiming that she is wanted by the US Justice department.
The basis for diplomatic immunity was adopted by the UN countries at the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961, where this international treaty defined the framework for diplomatic relations between independent countries. In this case, Aisha Buhari may have been secretly given a Diplomatic role by the government to benefit from the Article 29 of the Diplomatic relation act where diplomats must not be liable to any form of arrest or detention. They are also immune from civil or criminal prosecution, though the sending country may waive this right under Article 32.
It is impossible for the Buhari’s government to waive any immunity that will protect Aisha Buhari from prosecution in the US should she brave it and visit the US for the conference.

fayose over to you.
Aisha Buhari if you are innocent you have nothing to fear about Fayose's allegations. The US government don't act tyrannical like your husband. You will never be jailed without being given a fair trial. Buhari is a maximum ruler who is determined to decimate every form of opposition. Obamas's America is a democratic society and such will never happen to you. feel free and enjoy your stay.

I wrote same thing earlier today. She can't be arrested as long as she carrys a diplomatic passport.
For those who claim Sudanese president was arrested in South Africa even though he had diplomatic immunity, this case is different.
Sudanese president committed crimes against humanity which meant he could be arrested anywhere in the world.

I kept wondering how she could afford a 13 million wrist watch and a 5million naira finger ring when all she does for a living is body massage and hair salon.

Shame on Fayose and his friends.

So all of a sudden the dullard in Ekiti and his mathematically challenged media side kick just realised she has a diplomatic passport, yet they categorically said she had been avoiding the USA and gave 3 instances since Buhari's regime that she avoided a trip there.

So did she just get issued a diplomatic passport?

The problem with such people like Fayose and his hungry supporters, is they can never be pleased since their initial claim is already even known to them as false.

Next thing they'll say is that she did not visit FBI headquarters.

But if she did not try to prove her innocence, you would start thinking she's falsely accused?

Who can ever please a determined hater?

No one can.

Is this poster plainly clueless or what? Travelling with a diplomatic passport to avoid any arrest? Was she going to travel with the standard Nigerian passport?? As the wife of the president of the federal republic of Nigeria this woman has the right to diplomatic immunity and will not be subjected to any court issue or arrest and she can't be forced to testify in court.

but he carried a diplomatic passport, right?

U guys are funny- something won't work as long as u dnt want to make it work!

U wailers need to upgrade ur senses. As far as intelligence goes, u are lacking a light yrs behind others.

Having a diplomatic passport doesn't save you from aresst. Example is the issue of the Sudanese president who was nearly arrested in South Africa.

People who hold criminal records are not protected by one yeye diplomatic passport. Get your facts right.

Your manner of reasoning and arriving at your opinion reminds me why Nigeria can never practise the jury system in its judicial set-up.

How many Nigerians have a functioning brain? Does your statement that I quoted above show that you have even a mediocre brain?

When then do you consider someone to be innocent if you consider them guilty for defending themselves in a manner their accuser had already prescribed as the only proof of innocence?

That you defend yourself by naming worthy criminals who refused to defend themselves even when all manner of documentary evidence showed them to be guilty, is really of no surprise to anyone.

In your brilliant mind, the innocent never defend themselves and never honour panel invitations, instead they get perpetual injunctions not to be ever investigated.

You are a wholesome disgrace to the reasoning man.
