A Passionate Note From A Student To His Nairalander Lecturer... by Hdayo1(op): 8:32pm On Jun 30, 2016
While grading a psychology course taught 100 level students in a university where I teach, this pops up right at the first page of a student's script. Please what would you do if you were in my shoes? Your comments might just be the yardstick to my decision...

Hahahaha... this is so funny to me cheesy

Well, if I am faced with this kind of situation, I will ask the student to come and meet me and know if there are possible ways to help him understand the course better and then give him another chance to take the test; worse still, I will just give him 2/10 for wasting his pen, time and energy. grin

It's not just about this course judging from what he wrote and his way of writing; he is simply not a brilliant student

Well said brother.. but this is an examination so it's not possible to ask him to retake the paper since I have not secured another job...lol... again, majority of the students did very well in the course.... honestly I'm just in d middle of the middle...

He failed the examination! There's nothing else to do about it. Whatever thing he wrote there about not understanding bla bla bla should have been discussed with you earlier before the examination so as to devise a solution (not in terms of bribe oh).

Besides I'm a sister not a brother grin
