Whats the purpose of asking for the mileage of a vehicle, or should i say what mileage is too much or doesnt equate to a sound engine, also how is the reading on the meter board interpreted?? Thanks

mileage tell you roughly how the car has been used

imagine a 2016 car with 90000miles its means the car has been driven beyond the average 10000 miles per year, so things that are meant to wear off under normal driving and under a certain period eg ball joints would be worn out before the manufatcurer recommended period to check

but high mileage is not always a bad thing aslong there is a service history book with each service and garage receipts for other repairs

It depends on the location the car was manufactured. Some countries use Imperial while others Use metric.

In some Honda Accord 2003 (EOD) u see the millage in Miles while some other versions u see the millage in Km

how can he know when

most cars are import coming from different parts of the world which uses both miles and kilometers

its either he has two see the car physcially or use the vin number to check the origins of the car

so when someone say the mileage of say a mercedes benz is 120,000 how do you tell its in miles or km. Also applicable to the volks wagen golf 3 brand.

now there are many devices that can be used to adjust mileage meter,make it less than the actual, so pay attention to the chassis no when buy a used car,or else..
