Mr Jonathan who arrived at the Port Harcourt international airport alongside his wife, Dame patience Jonathan was received by the Rivers state governor, Nyesome Wike and other government officials.

While Mr Jonathan was away, many of his aides, associates have been arrested by anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged corrupt practice. Also, while GEJ was away, his party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has remained troubled over the chairmanship position of the main opposition party.
