Geek used to be an abusive word but today it could be said to be a compliment. A geek is someone who has high interest and knowledge in a particular subject matter (majorly tech, but could be any other). Before, there used to be a clear distinction between "geek" and "nerd", but now, there is only a fine line between those two terms and some even used them interchangeably.
