@topic, I closed my Skye account since last year, I read a report on some problems the bank is facing here on NL by SR, most were busy insulting the president, tribe, party, former president, etc, while those that read between the lines will know that the bank is in for a long thing.
The next people should watch out for is 1st bank and UBA. Don't say you are not warned.

It is the bank run that eventually distresses a bank; everyone trying to withdraw at the same time. Some form of withdrawal restriction and capital injection from the CBN should keep the bank standing.

There is a monetary limit to NDIC insurance. if memory serves me right it is very low millions per customer.

Bank doesn't work that way, No bank can afford to pay all their customers at a go. Why?

80% of money in the bank are electronic (online transaction) while mere 20% is in raw cash. The smart once would take to their phone now and start transferring funds.

These are the steps

Then, the bank loans the remaining 200 naira out to investors.
