Nigeria is not a mono-ethnic State where appointments doesn't matter. Nigeria is a State that must ensure fair representation (even if not equal) in every sphere of government. This is why the Constitution made provision for EQUAL number of ministers/cabinet members per state while the President and VP represents the entire federation.

Will the Kano man accept it if Jonathan or any Southern leader marginalised them this much? Thou hypocrite and sellout.

FYI, I am an Ijawman FIRST before being a Nigerian, so is Buari a Fulani before being a Nigeria. Nigeria is neither a race nor a tribe for it to come first.

Regardless of the section of the country his appointments have come from, we should support the govt, show solidarity and make other sections understand that we are part and parcel of the Nigerian project.

I am not saying Buhari has done perfectly well in picking mostly Northerners, but in reality, we have not shown ourselves a part and parcel of the Nigerian dream.

Since the day he won election till date, some elements in our region have not only wished him failure but have worked for the actualisation of same. IPoB, NDA and other groups which constitute themselves into social and economic menace have been cheered on relentlessly by most people in our society both on social media and other platforms.

We cannot appear to want the destruction of Nigeria and complain when we are not appointed to serve Nigeria. The govt is right if it is suspicious of persons from the region due to recent happenings and do not want to give them certain national responsibilities, because nobody empowers his enemy to cause more havoc.
