the jamb portal wod soon be updated 4 aspirant to go check. provision Admission determine if u r qualified 4 d screening wth point or nt n nt d vice versa.

documented in the downloaded pdf as Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida university Lapai's
model.
This model was how this school traditional screened their candidates for admission processes since they do not write post utmes.
JAMB then went on to say that this model wasn't beneficial
because it puts candidates with poorer WAEC grades and
awaiting results at a disadvantage.
JAMB then prescribed that students would be offered
provisional admission, after which they may proceed for
verification of their O'level and A'level certificates at their
various institutions of admission.
This infers that Olevel would not be used as a determinant
for admission, but most likely only JAMB results.

But then, across every sort of social media, people kept on sharing some crazy stuff about Jamb using point system, or maybe it is me hu can't understand much..?

According to how I understand it o.... Jamb wil offer provisional admission with jamb score.. Then the school will screen those offered provisional admission with d point grading method after which d school fully admits students based on the screening they've conducted, then sends the rest of those that doesn't get admitted back to jamb for redistribution
