Though efforts are been made by the Government  to address the food needs of Inmates across our prisons but when government services are drying up it is paramount for NGO to fill in the gap  and ensure Inmates in Kirikiri enjoy a nutritional meal to celebrate Eid el-Fitri like everyone else"...

The last time FoodClique Support Initiative visited the Inmates at Kirikiri Prison, they requested for two things from us:

1>> To join them in Eid prayers. 2>> A nutritional meal to make them feel good. Inasmuch as it appeared difficult for us due to logistics and funds at the time, we stuck with our vision to always try our best to ensure fewer people go hungry.

Now guess what?. Academy Volunteer Initiatives and @foodcliquesupport made the wishes of the Inmates a reality. We joined them in prayers and provided meals for the Inmates to celebrate Eid el-Fitri.

The Inmates were thankful and I have told myself not to complain about the government but do the little I can.....

Criminal shouldn't be too fed.

Some of them are innocent... Nothing can be more worrisome for an Inmates than the fear of Hunger attacking them.

I hope the Prison Warders won't finish the rice before it crosses the two entrance gate.

The prison warders were polite. They gave everything to the Inmates and I can testify to it

But criminals are human being & hunger is not part of their punishment...
