Apc's Biggest Mistake.... by azimibraun(op): 6:35am On Jul 08, 2016
In my candid opinion, APC and Buhari in particular made a very big mistake not by the very many promises they made during the campaigns but by for a moment thinking that fellow Nigerians will be their development partners. Am aware of my generalization "NIGERIANS"so don't remind me of it. Since the inception of this administration, fellow Nigerians have caused more hardship for ourselves and the government than the government has put us through. Let us take the fuel issue for example; just within minutes of announcing that fuel can sell for and not above N145 every single filling station in Nigeria opened for sales and no new supply came in. What does that tell you; they all had fuel but decided to punish us and the government in power. As much as I will not ascribe to a sudden secondment of the oil industry for which I will propose a gradual departure in terms of emphasis, I will make a passionate plea with the players in the industry to understand that sustainable Agriculture and others sectors are the main focal point of this administration. I know it hurts to be relegated but government cannot lose sight of the future and dwell 100% on the past and present. If APC and Buhari wants a shortcut they can introduce "Ghana must Go" back into our lives and dig the graves of our kids future and Nigerians will be proud of them momentarily or remain steadfast, do the needful and be praised in the future for putting us on the path of sustainable development. Impatience and greed are never scarce in Nigeria. Just my observation and thought.

@OP,

Now you are blaming Nigerians for the failure of the government, rigHt?
As for the Filling stations, How much was the exchange rate when they were been forced to sell at N86/l? If you bought some at a cost of N100, would you sell at N90? They were selling it secretly at the black market rate until government made it official just like dollar.

The problem is the government and if you can tell yourself the truth, you would ask yourself, how come we were told that our refineries were almost over 60% back in production but NNPC mega stations are also selling at a high cost and why has here been no news about the progresses recorded in that sector now fuel is selling at this high cost.

Please, why are they not telling us again that they are working towards reviving our refineries, are they afraid we will demand for the reduction in the pump prices?

Anyways, is only a fool would be deceived into believing that this government is sincere by the paid agents.

If you don't speak out today, tomorrow will be worst for your actions and inaction today would used to judge you tomorrow. Nothing lasts forever and the type of division we have in Nigeria today has never been witness in this country before.

We need to restructure this country to move forward, this government is setting a dangerous precedent.
