NEWSFLASHNGR can authoritatively report that the executive Governor of Anambra state chief sir Wille Obiano has said that his administration is renovating and refurbishing 57 general hospitals in the state with a view to giving them face lift for optimal performances. The governor stated this during the foundation laying ceremony of ultra-modern hospital building at the Diocesan Hospital Nnewi, managed by the Anglican Diocese of Nnewi. Obiano said that his government is also renovating 63 Primary Health Centres in the state, 21 in each senatorial district, adding that his administration has equally started the construction of houses for doctors as a way of alleviating accommodation problems among resident doctors in the state. In his address, the hospital Administrator, Rev Maurice Agu, commended the governor for the visit, stating that Obiano was the first governor of the state to have visited the ancient health facility since it was founded 85 years ago.
