Good Job and Info.....but I did observe something and it seems they all require one having a job offer from a Canadian employer. I don't know how that is possible.

this has been my issue with this immigration system. They want you to get a job but at the same time make it difficult to do so.

It is not the same.
You do not have a Canadian degree. So click NO.
Then another question will come up, if you have had your foreign degree evaluated click Yes.
Then pick which evaluating body you used and enter your reference number.
And pick the correct Canadian evaluation as reported on your ECA report.

Hi Iphie25,

please what atm card did you use to pay for icas? i am having issues making payment on their website. not going through

iphie25:

Hi optionese,
First of all I want to say again dt IQAS is d only evaluating body that understands foreign law degrees, concludes d evaluation in record time and is cheaper.
For ur first question...IQAS recognises dt Nig has direct entry programmes for Law and it's four years. I'm thinking it'll be written on ur transcripts dt it's a direct entry programme u came in thru. But to be on the safe side you can attach ur dip degree or request for ur transcripts and also explain to them in a written note.
For ur 2nd ?....yes your age, work experience and ielts are d determining factors. If ur less than 30 or at most 32 you should get good points. If. U hv 3years work experience and try to score atleast 8777 in LRWS in IELTS your scores should be well over 450 atleast.
If u v any queries...don't hesitate to ask.

I paid for my IQAS using a Gtb Mastercard. I used savings account, but couldn't go through. But later used a Mastercard gtb card linked to my current account and it went through successfully....

Good Afternoon,
I would like to request a remark of my IELTS Writing scored at 6.5. Listening, reading and Speaking are okay.
1. Do I have to visit their office in Lagos for a remark form or it can be requested via email. The bank draft will be sent via courier.
2. If the score will not increase, is it possible that they reduce it further?

Thanks
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by samnijazz: 1:54pm On Jul 08, 2016
yes, you need to go to their office within 6 weeks of your exam. also, you will pay 15,000 for the remark. make sure you pray very well to avoid delay and also for fair remark. all the best.

If your 6.5 is either in writing or speaking, do you want to reconsider Enquiry on Result (remarking)

After linking your card to your current account, did u activate it for online banking? I will suggest u go to any gtb around u and make a complain. I used my gtb debit atm card, linked to my current account and it worked. Used it to pay for a friend as well and it worked.

Writing. Problem with remarking is if outcome remains the same 15k is gone plus I now have to look for another 52k for another exam.

Hi friend, from my experience so far, tell your friend that migrating to Canada is like walking in a long stretch tunnel with light at it's far end.it is not an impossible adventure to embark on tho but he must be ready to take with him perseverance,determination,courage,optimism,patience/endurance,faith,hope and above all God's divine providence plus his will because his word says irrespective of whatever our plans may be His will must stand above our own will.

The originator of this thread did an incredible work to put up the steps and links to achieving this task right there on the first page. What he/she should do is to take out time and go through all the information on that first page thereafter he/she can ask questions in respect of where he/she did not understand. so many people here started from there and are following up well.Goodevening

I am applying for Manitoba Nominee Program(OVERSEA SKILLED WORKER) and I am abit confuse about their Clb Calculation..
Please I will like to know what my CLB or Laguage point will be when submitting Expression of Interest.

LISTENING....5.5
READING. .....5.5
WRITING. ......6.5
SPEAKING.....70
OVERALL......6.0

Do I use CLB 7 to calculate my point or I have to calculate each Band according to what I score above

What is my language point please.
Thanks

I don't know the min CLB required for each band in the case of Manitoba PNP but the 5.5 in L & R is short of expectation as regards the min language CLB required for language ability in general. CLB 7 is 4 points,CLB 8 is 5 points and CLB 9 is 6 points anything less than CLB 7 is 0.Having said so other senior house members may equally throw more light for clarification

Listening and writing.
I know I did well in listening. Was expecting 7.5 or 8.
But in the absence of remarking, can I proceed with this score?
All which province or territory should I select in applying?
Thanks you.

You're disappointed about the outcome of your performance so many others may have felt the same.It will add to your agony the more if your score didn't fare better than what it was before.Imagine what you would have spent ie 52k+15k totalling 67k not to add the stress involve.

My dear I suggest you save and channel the money for remark to something more profitable.
Provinces like Sask or Manitoba will be a good starting point for PNP though you need to make 60/100 for eligibility.

This can be a guideline to show and determine our CLB. Got this from the CIC website. Hope it's gonna be helpful.
