This is preposterous! how could the richest oil producing state not be able to pay pensioners?... Going by political arguments on this forum, one would think it was only 'beer-bellied irresponsible Awusa governors' like Rochas that were incapable of settling pensioners as at when due. 1 Like |

Akwa Ibom has become an eye sore after Akpabio's tenure same state that was the beautiful bride, standard of measurement for infrastructures, corp members dream state of deployment now reeling in poverty despite the huge IGR, monthly allocations, 13% derivation funds amongst other sundry perks. Same state whom DSS found stacks of untouched dollars in its government house. Funny enough, same state who governor asserted not quite long ago that PDP is the solution to Nigeria's economic woes. I'm so sure Akpabio left the state in an economic haemorrhaged state,the results are just manifesting gradually. 3 Likes |
