So i finished from LAUTECH but i insisted my younger brother must go to a federal university at least if we cant afford to study abroad. U.I was few steps away from home, OAU strikes a lot so we decided on UNILAG. With this whole jamb and no post utme stuff, i decided to find out from someone at the school. My contact told me it was viRtually impossible to study any engineering course in UNILAG without Further mathematics. He even shared with me that he was also a victim of the same issue years ago and he resulted in studying chemistry.. House he is passionate about Chemical Engineering... Advice Please..................

He's partially correct!


But you can still go for any engineering course without further maths.

to be honest, as long as unilag is concerned, you can't do any engineering without further maths, you should have made proper research before choosing the school, I know more than five people that have been kicked during their screening.

bros its even stated in the jamb brochure(guess he should have taken time to read it well enough) asides jamb subjects combination, there are some other requirements as per o'level subjects (no of sittings,grades&combination)...nothing is impossible though but remember he will also do a departmental screening/verification

he can't gain admission into any engineering dept in unilag without further mathematics.......Except he's given another course
