Who Is Theresa May - UK's New Prime Minister?

The Home Secretary nicknamed the 'Ice Queen' was invited to form a government by Queen Elizabeth II in a private audience at Buckingham Palace, after David Cameron resigned as UK's Prime Minister, aftermath of the Brexit vote. The Leader of the Conservatives may be a popular figure among Britons, but she is hardly known to many outside Britain. Here is a quick fact run-through of who the new UK's Prime Minister is:





- Theresa was born on October 1st, 1956 in Eastbourne, Sussex.

- She is a practicing member of the Anglican Church.

- She studied Geography at St. Hugh’s College, Oxford.

- She got married to Philip John May in 1980. Philip is a banker.

- They are childless.

- Theresa has Type 1 diabetes, which means she must inject herself with Insulin at least twice a day for the rest of her life.
