Please we don't need negative people here. You can always ignore this thrend and go to your Romance section. This thrend is for Youth who have hope the future of this great nation can be great, those who believed it's worth fighting for, those who would make sure it worked out through the end. Even if it fails there's always a lesson learnt. You can however change your orientation and support this Big thing, or ignore and regret you once had a chance to change this Nation for the best. A nice word is also a contribution, the least we need here is discouragement.
Our problem is we dont like hearing the truth. I just posted the obvious and in no way try to be negative. I will always support any initiative as long as it's made for the betterment of the masses but we must be wary of the caliber of selfish folks we have in this country.

Enough of the fight, you're a blogger I believe now in what ways can we better this initiative, do we stay focused on the drive and create the much needed awareness? Above all how do we program the drive to be purpose driven anger not centered on a single individual? How do we fight distractions and remain focused?

We need your help.

I appreciate and applaud all those who have contributed to this thread. In as much as we are taking some steps, I want ask what the modus operandi of this revolution will be but I can see its gonna be only an ideological revolution.
I might be wrong but I have reasons to believe that a Violent revolution is the most effective way to save Nigeria. This might be extreme and quite radical but I think there has to be bloodshed. Some of these politicians and elites need to be eliminated or exiled which will set an example for the others to follow and learn that Nigerians should not be taken for granted and thus whatever we request for will be granted very fast. I commend everyone here for their input.
Once again I might be wrong. We Will Get There.

Drop some points, drop some ideas; don't come here thrash talking. It won't be welcomed.

I believe it won't come to that, they must have learnt one or two things from the NDA not to allow forceful agitation, if we have the numbers they will negotiate well. But if it comes to it, we will deal with it intelligently. We don't need to kill before we use force, that's why I said we need to be smarter than these leaders.

Thanks guys. Just saw the mentions now I ve sent the BBM invite and Am ready to give to my all for this. But this should be strictly apolitical, and not about any political party, Religion or Ethnic group. This is about Nigeria and how to rebrand it and make it work.

For Nigeria's sake. I hope you are right. I know the only language Nigerian Politicians listen to is Force, violence, bloodshed etc E.g Niger Delta Militants who were given amnesty.

I'm a youth corper and I have enough members at my disposal.as a cds president I have discussed with my members, and they want a push. They believe in me, I'm in port-Harcourt. Let's do the needful on time and also create an interest for these youth not to be scared or afraid because they need the confidence.

A new government must be formed. a new generation of politicians who are accountable to the citizens are formed because of the fear of such violence repeating itself.

Could you please name a couple of this new generation of politicians that will take over and what you foresee the state governors and military doing at this time ? And during the revolution in which the youth burn things down, capture politicians and execute them, what would the Military, police and various paramilitary be doing?

Please I'm not sneering, I'm trying to lead you to a position in which it becomes clearer why i believe that the West control African Youths.

You've a point. I'll take you up and this, not to discredit your criticism but to actually work around those things currently compromising the rational decision making process of our youths.

For a revolution to be successful various groups have to support the cause. The Youths cannot do it alone. The West might help but there is going to be a payback for their support E.g the Arab Spring.

It is with great pleasure and honor to have worked with a passionate few on this thread. Same appreciation to my brothers and sisters who have decided to key into a new tradition, a new way of reasoning to co-exist beyond the divides of culture, religion and ethnicity.

What started like a cry for help, a cry from a pure soul that have done virtually no wrong but tirelessly work towards excellence, happiness and laughter yet deprived the fruit of his birth place, his hardwork and made to realize that the Nigeria of his dream is an utopian dream of a dying helpless man.

Today I stand tall, never to back down never to relent until I look my kids in the face and in confidence be able to tell them that hardwork pays, that the System is just and fair.

Welcome to a new day, a new dawn, a new aluta not against that other tribe, religion, sex or color but to a new Brotherhood where peace, love, selfless service will be the order of the day.

The New Nigerian Youth!!!!!

My father told me, and so did his father before him. This land your birth place, this land your heritage, this land your abode in the flesh and this land you will carry in your heart to the great beyond.
Arise brothers and sisters. We did no wrong but we're here to do it right. This land our birth place cries to be saved. Will you join the train to redeem and restore her glory?

Welcome to the Voice of the Nigerian Youths, let our silence be heard the loudest and our voices the weapon of true change!

Vision

To awaken, enlighten and reposition the Nigerian Youth to function effectively for the purpose of achieving inter-tribal and religious coexistence and ultimately leading in a secular and functional society.

Mission

We, the Nigerian youths are poised to ensuring a Nigeria where youths take their rightful position in political and economic decision of our fatherland. We are determined to ensure that through selfless service and adherence to the Rule of Law, the economic and political future of Nigeria is rooted in core moral values as envisaged by the founding fathers of our dear nation. Furthermore, we believe the need to right the wrongs of the past and chart a course for sustainable human and capital development, is our collective responsibility. Hence, we seek to build the Nigeria we heard stories of as kids and above all to protect the true queens and kings of this great nation; our children yet unborn.

Our Creed

We did no wrong but we're here to do it right.
I give my voice against all vices.
I am the first line of credibility.
For the defence of justice and equity"
I am a Voice of the Nigerian Youths
We're here to be heard!
