Pls fellas, its actually ma first time of using an android fone, been using BB all ma life, now I decided to switch to android to enjoy the features android fones comes with. But its been hell for me utilizing my data, I don't know if ders someone sucking my data like vampire.

Details of the phone below.
Tecno L8+
Android version 5.1 Lollipop
16GB Rom
2GB Ram.


Ok just imagine, My airtel 1.5GB monthly plan couldn't last more dan a week it finished, I wan mad.


Pls I presume der is something to do inorder reduce the amount of data being consumed by my andorid.

Pls Android users and basically Tecno L8+ users help me oh. Hw can I browse with ma fone without being scared of loosing data.

N/B I didn't download anything @all, just watsapp, nairaland, facebook and lil surfing online. That's all.
Plus, like I was told, always off ur data connection wen u aint browsing, which I did frequently.

Android sucks data a lot. You're only complaining because it's your first time. And you excessively used the data. There's no way 1.5gb would finish in less than a week. Even myself I downloaded some files and it lasted a two weeks. The fb mobile app is a great data consumer. It consumes data a lot. If you can't cope uninstall it and be using fb lite

If u a game lover u can keep ur android, that is android for u. if I go android tomorrow I will still keep my bb10 I will just be using android to play game

As u see mea. I didn't like blackberry before, if my friends talk about blackberry beside me, I go yab them becos I do not like it but when I got to try bb10 device. Mehn I forgot the furking android but I only misses some games

Just restrict your background data usage, that's what I do on my j8,or you subscribe on your GLO sim card 2k for 6gb..its whoopingly nice

no app will run when u restrict background data,just restrict and use the app you want with easy,no more issue
