Power in Nigeria is in a mess. That is why one of the few good decisions by GEJ was to privatize the thing.Government cannot take care of power well anymore.

Before the advent of NDA and other militants bombing the pipelines,Nigeria under his watch hit a historical low of 0megawatts,so he should stop giving excuses.
Besides,isn't he the one that stated during pdp era that 'nigerians should not accept any excuse for power failure'. Why is now giving a tonne of it?

This is just as the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, called for proper restructuring of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission to ensure viable power supply in the country.

Read foolish comment by people.... When does it become a curse for you to protect infrastructure that will benefit you? Its a pity when you read and hear how people talk on this forum... Sensibility has been lost. Instead of tackling intellectual issues intellectually we resort to ethnic bashing and religious bigotry. The minister is trying to fix the issue, hateful people are here being pessimistic without an alternative solution.

That was a very lame excuse for your minister. It's just like a security officer saying he will provide maximum security once armed robbers stop stealing. The youths and teenagers you are referring to are correct. Vandalizing power infrastructure will never stop, I expect the minister to think outside the box, provide alternative means so that bombing of the pipeline will have less effect on power generation.
