IGBO OLOMU : Wither Yoruba Leaders, Lagos And Ogun States Governors ? by ANAKONDA: 3:32am On Jul 16, 2016
Igbo Olomu and surrounding villages have been in the news of late. This was where more than twenty innocent and unarmed inhabitants were mercilessly gunned down by Ijaw oil bunkering bandits in a single night. Since this incident occured, no attempt seemed to have been made by those concerned (or maybe they are less concerned ?) to fish out the perpetrators for adequate justice. The police drafted to the areas are merely cosmetic having failed to stop further attrocities by these criminals.

Last tuesday/wednesday, the criminals raided about 17 houses between the hours of 9pm and 1am in an estate called Alarape in Igbo Olomu.
Emissaries sent to the police for help met with a rebuff on the pretext that they were not authorized to go into the estates to enforce security. But they are authorized to extort money from Okada riders and commercial drivers during the day. Matter of fact, the starcato of shots fired sporadically by these criminals were so deafening that the policemen cannot pretend ignorance of the operation even without being informed.
Operations were carried out the following night though on a smaller scale in another estate not more than a quarter of a kilometre from police locations and nothing was done.

That anarchy is reigning in these areas is no longer in doubt. That Yoruba leaders and governments are also aware is equally not in doubt. People have been forced to move out enmasse from their dwellings yet again.

I hate to believe that there is a flight of leadership in Yorubaland. The youths are seething with rage and are ready to defend their land but lack the wherewithal. If Nigeria cannot protect our people, isn't it time for concerned yorubas in the military and private sectors to do the needful for our people so as to defend themselves and their heritage ?
As early as 9pm friday, the criminals embarked on another operation. They operate with impunity having known that the police will not act.
And who knows, they may be operating with the complicity of the police.

YORUBA RONU.

This is not the kind of statements we need at this time.. we need solidarity and unity to defend ourselves against these criminal and our very weak government security agencies. People are being killed from kano, kaduna, bornu, adamawa, benue, enugu, rivers, bayelsa, delta ogun and now Lagos without anything being done to stop it. Is Human life no more sacred that we make this kind of comments because it does not affect our family members?
In the days of aluta we were told an injury to on is an injury to all.. we have totally lost it as a nation and we desperately need the mercies of God. You don't spill the blood of the innocent and expect the good of of land.
On the ikorodu and those bordering ogun communities issue I strongly recommend the engagement of OPC before state police is approved.. I know OPC has the capacity to help, they are just being silent because they were demonized by th yoruba elites when GEJ gave them surveillance contract to protect that same area and if you can recall while doing that same job they lost 4 of their men and yoruba elites Called them names instead of mourning with them.
The criminals terrorizing those areas are not Niger Delta militants but pipeline vandals consisting of people of different tribes including ijaw, urhobo, yoruba, igbo, and even nationalities of Benin and Togo who are known to both soldiers, police, Navy, DSS and politicians in both Lagos an ogun state they know what to do to stop it but they are not ready.

We don't need the mercy of God here

God has been merciful to us just that we are stupid

What we need is to renegotiate our unity

Simple

And yet it took the Yoruba to pummell the entire Igbo race to shameful submission and surrender at Ore and the biafran capital ?
Your prejudice has obviously beclouded your memory else you just displayed your usual hypocricy to console your soul or massage your ego as usual.

You may need to ask any Ijaw living witness in Ajegunle to give you the true outcome of the mayhem.

Are you ignorant enough not to know that the Igbo borne the human casualty at mile 12 ?

The only coup ever spearheaded by mainly Igbo stock ended in fla dismal failure courtesy of the cowardly Emmanuel Ijeajuna and his cohorts.
Nzegwu was the only brave man of the lot and he wasn't even of core Igbo.

Are you sure the Yoruba backed down at Ladipo or you were into anothet ego massaging ?

IBB made that statement not to deride the Yoruba but to extol their loyalty which he knew was seriously lacking in your race.

Apart from Benue and Plateau states, the southeast has suffered the highest level of slaughter by fulani herdsmen without your people raising a finger only for one governor to weep like cry-baby while other governors quickly and jitteringly offered your lands for free grazing.

Ask the hausas in Shagamu and Ijaws in Ajegunle again for proper briefing.
Don't forget apologies were quickly offered over the mile 12 imbroglio.

As for the main issue at hand, i can assure you that the Yoruba will laugh last. It may take them time to react to issues like this but once they decide to, the outcome would be decisive.

Seriously, since yesterday the Ikorodu madness has been giving me sleepless night, becos it will definitely spill outside of Ikorodu.

But for dragging Igbos into your chest beating, am going to reply to set the record straight.

1. The coup you referenced was defeated by LtCol Ojukwu.
2.Biafran forces were just shooting distance from Lagos when Banjo halted the march. Ojukwu summoned him and executed him for treason. The Biafran troops withdraw. I don't need to educate you how Biafrans using passengers turned military plane established air superiority over the entire air space until Russia supplied Nigeria with superior bombers flew by Egyptian mercenary. Beg the FG to declassify all files on Biafran war, BTW, its ova 30yrs.
3. As for the Mile 12 massacre. Lol
4. Every madness in the North are repaid with reapraisal in the east. There has never been 1 incident that has never been properly reapraised. You can point any if you can.
5. The Nimbo victim were avenged with a reprisal in Aba. The Governor saved their mosques from being lighted.

Weep for Ikorodu and don't drag Igbos into ur chest-beating. Aren't you ashamed that the Ijaws are raping your sisters? While enjoying your change, I pray for Peace in Ikorodu.
