I intend to make a suggestion for the creation of a new section on Nairaland where people with great ideas or projects can upload them to invite other interested people to join the project and contribute towards its success. In other words, if anyone has a big idea that can't be accomplished alone, the person can post it to this proposed new section so other people interested in idea can join effort together in planning and finance to realize the idea. I believe this would help some unemployed gradutes have a specific place on Nairaland to team up and work on promising ideas that can attract investors and eventually give birth to great startups.

Seun I would like to know what you think about creating such a section on Nairaland.

Like I mentioned, there are ideas that are too big and complex for a single person to carry out alone. In a situation like this you must definitely need other hands to help build the idea rather than leaving the idea to rot in your head and you end up benefiting nothing. But when you have others working with you and the idea gets created you still benefit something. This is what the new section is all about. Its about team work.

yes I totally understand you, no man is an Island we all need help and support sometimes but definitely they are greedy people who are fortunate to have access to resources to effectively carry out projects and some of em lack creativity to develop ideas and on spotting one they steal it without giving credit to the original owner or even seeking to partner with them so they can be "solely exalted". am not being pessimistic though it's just the truth

Ok. But we don't always have to dwell on the negatives and completely ignore the positives. Yes people with the resources can copy the concept without recognizing the original owners but there are still those who will be considerate enough to thrown in their resources to support the on-going effort rather than stealing it. Most ideas that will be uploaded will require these resources and if the resources is not there I believe it would be worth taking the gamble by inviting assistance from the public rather than doing nothing by hiding it. And besides, these ideas can make it to the front page to gain wider publicity so a lot of people will definitely know where a certain idea originated from when it gets copied, and I believe it would help discourage the copying to an extent.
