Buhari was really scammed by ameachi and the few Niger delta fools who aligned with him assuring that the Niger delta would do nothing with the madness experienced by the Niger delta in this administration. .....

Good. The Nigerian Navy has good reputation in dealing with Pirates. The navy should go in on this people. You don't mess with the wrong navy.
However, Hijacking a vessel is not something new. The Ship should have RAD the Navy during the militants approach.

Lol... I guess u are not aware when Pirates attacked a PSV in convoy with a security patrol boat underway to Erah Field last two weeks, they abducted the captain, Chief Officer, Two AB, and steward... And the security boat responsibility was to guard the PSV, but acted cowardly by altering their course and left the PSV to the mercy of the militants...

Nigerian Navy still have a long way to go in combating pirates at sea because of corruption with the ranks, zeal to fight, Obsolete equipment, Funding to fuel patrol boats

PSV - Platform Supply Vessel
Underway - on transit

It was a security mail sent to all vessels working with ExxonMobil to be on alert.. since that time all vessels are on security level 1.. So I can't tell what the NN are doing it... I guess they are working towards freeing the kidnapped personnel

Wallahi, you Afonja I no get am sense embarassed You think the Navy is ready to put down their lives because of your comment here?
I know of a Naval guy from the North who said that if you see what the people are going through and the devastation in the Niger Delta your morale to fight them drops.

The Naval guys will tell you many times they receive orders from Abuja not to arrest an oil bunkering ship enroute to the mothership at high sea and rather should shout 'Ahoy' and collect their share of the proceeds which can run into millions of Naira.
Dont be deceived those Naval guys are not ready to engage in deadly fights with militants, when they know that the PSV will be released after some negotiations between their bosses, the vessel owners and the militants.

shoving the Niger delta aside and squashing the amnesty programme too quickly by touchiNG the monies for the amnesty.....hastily chasing tompolo was a serious mistake anyone would make because he had ameachi cheering him from behind....lop sided appointments...allowing the fool ameachi to foil the plans of a maritime university right before the eyes of all Niger deltans. .. angry

Buhari thought it was going to be business as usual....

Just take a look at the results....hope we all enjoy it...

An already bad situation, getting worse due to Buhari's style of handling. Wonder what the overall intent is when Buhari went to trigger the militants. Tougher times ahead for Nigerian government, economy and militants alike. Buhari has got lots of decisions he would regret about the Niger Delta. Even military action might compound things the more.
