Yes and no, you are right. Terrorism is The deliberate commission of an act of violenceto create an emotional response through the suffering of the victim'
The NDA and the BH are alike in that manner. The big but is that BH kills to force people to be like they are- Muslim. BH wants to turn the world into a caliphate
. However the terrorist of ND are forcing people to go away from their father land/ resource. The ND fight is a let my people go fight. (oppressed people and all that)

shoving the Niger delta aside and squashing the amnesty programme too quickly by touchiNG the monies for the amnesty.....hastily chasing tompolo was a serious mistake anyone would make because he had ameachi cheering him from behind....lop sided appointments...allowing the fool ameachi to foil the plans of a maritime university right before the eyes of all Niger deltans. .. angry

Buhari thought it was going to be business as usual....

Just take a look at the results....hope we all enjoy it...
The amnesty program was not a permanent program it was made to end in 2018, u n I know that gej give tompolo too much power n money, any govt in his right sense will go after tompolo. Tompolo has cause more harm than gud in Niger Delta. Even the maritime school was never made to be place in gbaramatu community, tompolo use his influence over gej to move the school to gbaramatu and in the process billions of naira was siphon to his account. What is happening now is more than the amnesty program and maritime school. Some strong cabals dont want to go to jail hence they sabotage the economy to distract the govt. The real demand of the NDA is for fg to drop all court case of politicians from south south. The 2014 confab and maritime school is just to deceive gullible Nigerians who don't know what is happening.

Oh, I forgot our oil money was also used to develop Liberia, Helen Johnson Sirleaf and Charles Taylor own half of the oil blocs in the Niger Delta.

This was how Boko Haram started, people egged them on and heaped praises on them until BH turned them to preys.

Buhari just dey threaten nnamdi kanu, at the end he will still free him. He's just doing this to make KANU calm down. But that does not justify NDA bombing pipeline because of KANU.

inasmuch as one should not cheer on the NDA in their quest to free all south- south prisoners of criminality , one has to say that it was the federal government of Nigeria that left room room for the rise in militancy in the various nations of this country. Why is it that all the major nations in this country has militia. OPC, Egbesu, IPOB, BH.
Nigeria is a failed nation by and large and unless social justice is wrought in an equitable social contract. Nigerians cannot tell rebels to hush. I am Yoruba and it is such a shame that that sort of identification is required on nairaland thisdays

I get what u are saying. But some people make it seems as if Nigeria was well until buhari came in. If u are talking of Nigeria as a failed nation, nor be today, Nigeria has failed as a nation since not even in this administration.

Did u see resource control in demand of Niger Delta avengers, cus I did not, they are more concern abt the release of kanu, dasuki, apology to former govt of bayelsa, 60% oil block sud be own by Niger Delta, 2014 confab, maritime school etc. They did not add resource control to their demand. And if they want resource control why didn't they agitate for it when gej was president. I am also tired of the Nigeria system but lets tell ourselves the truth if gej had win the 2015 election all this story of resource control nor for come up.

the guy you quoted is right, they actually did. it was their first or 2nd demand when all these bombing spray started. Do you know the confab recommended the creation of about 50states? There is also tenure increment in it?
one major reason we are yet to have a constitutional amendment is due to insertion of selfish clauses, when we are truly ready for restructuring, we will do that from election stage. Hope you get what I mean.

But this is becoming something else nau
how can they hijack a vessel and Nigerian Navy and air force will not be able to locate the location where the vessel is kept and bombard them.
When u have a hostage situation with foreign nationals, that's a different ball game.

To think that the people holding that ship are fish replicas, they are better and well trained than the naija navy in terms of under water combats or on water combats. The casualties will be much, not just on the militants sides but also the naija forces, and God help FG if in the process one of those hostages dies(due to any careless approach by our forces(I bet u know how our forces behaves, like beasts, they might go their and start shooting anyhow in a bid to scare those militants, and if the militants sense that they can't match them fire for fire, they might just decide to execute those hostages and then do what they know how to do while in water) u know how over 100 soldiers died earlier this year for lack of aquarium training and the FG/navy and army tried to down play it?. Na different ball game be that, it might severe some diplomatic ties between naija and Liberia, and might bring about disrepute to FG in terms of security and protecting their nationals.

All these are if the crew members are still being held inside the ship, maybe they have been relocated to lands. In this case, they might be untraceable if the FG does anything stupid.

Na wa for some people.

Millitants hijack a vessel and they're popping champagne, rather than cover their faces in shame at the bad reptutation they're attracting to the country.

It will never end well for them....... that's for sure.

The country flag of a ship only means the country or port of registry. Most Nigerian owned vessels especially tankers fly Liberia, Panama and Gilbratar flags. They do this for strategic reasons.
