Great job you are doing...how long after the decking exercise did it take before continuing the laying of blocks for the upper floor ? And how much was expended on the decking alone.

Thank you, after the decking cast we continued the next morning... with the bamboo reinforcement under it no cause for alarm.

I will post the details of the amount spent for the 1st slab (decking)soon.

Wow...good to see the work is going on smoothly. May it be an easy venture through. What will be in the pent floor? I am also continuing work soon on my 3 bedroom bungalow with pent floor in Abuja. Did the foundation to DPC already. Starting block work to upper floor next week and will really like to know the cost to deck the pent floor as per my plans attached. Told I will need about 5,400 9" blocks for the building. Will that be enough? Suggestions please...

Amen, thank you my brother. I wish I can see the plan's dimension clearly but all the same is not going to be too expensive from this point because you have done the main one which is the foundation to DPC. I suppose 4500 - 4800 blocks can handle it. Assumeption cost estimate (ACE) for the decking : 45 lgts of 12mm x #1350 =#60750, 25 lgts of 8mm x #700 =#17500, 40 lgts of 16mm x #2350 =#70500, 10kg binding wire = 5000 total =#153,750
wood structure...
Sub- structure... Etc
It may cost up to #328,400 or more. But for specific estimate the diamention counts. Hope it will help. Thanks
