IN DEDICATION TO THE MILLIONS ENTANGLED IN A SYSTEM JUST LIKE MY BROTHER MARCUS TEAL “FREE TEAL” Product of the system, ain’t no telling how many juveniles are graduating into prison… Institutionalized black youth conventions, minimalize opportunities and set up traps like cubic prisms… The scent of corruption, descent from oppression. Black lives sold for a meager price, black market… One mistake and they give you 10 to life, slave market… No slave ships, but they still chain us up in the back cop cars… No plantations, but we have prisons surrounded by cedar block, concrete and barb wire… Recidivism is when a criminal record forces you into a career in minimum wage. Rehabilitation is when your body is locked up, everyone you love is moving on without you and your daughter doesn’t have her father around every day to teach her how to be a queen… A google mugshot is the last picture she has to frame, bar- codes and digits are now attached to her loved one’s name… A systematic black cloud that hovers and covers every minority community… Generational displacement squeezes the functionality out of most black families… A hood inhabited by victims of failed policies and a lack of equal opportunities… If Justice turned into a prostitute than Peace must be a homeless man devoured by the streets… Imagine the head of your household locked up in a farm for petty drug offences like cattle meat… Private entities thriving off of black and brown misery, the new conglomerate a billion dollar industry! Building more prisons than schools seems to be a sound investment in our countries economy… The new world order is modern day slavery. - Someone you don't Know |

bitchcrafts:Don't forget that this mass incarcerarion of innocent black men started at the end of slavery (1865). This was/is a way to continue free labor in the United States. There have been recent incidents of white judges being caught sending innocent young black men to prison for pay and they are now serving a 20 year prison sentence themselves. But some people do not want to know the truth, they are happy remaing in there ignorance. |

khiaa:It's all pathetic Khia... But those enligtened need to just keep up the fight and keep doing great. You won't liberate no system if you aint liberated yourself. With that mindset, the future is bright; With more blacks liberated from poverty and shady dealings, the future is bright. |
