There is a long standing prejudice/lack of support from the SE geo-political zone for the person of his excellency President Mohammadu Buhari. This i believe is arising from his antecedents as a front line advocate for his core tribe and religion coupled with his perceived ruthless stand in support of the massacre of Biafran soldiers in 1968. Furthermore, he displayed a skewed knowledge of the components of the SE zone when in response to a question on the SE feeling during his maiden media chat, he asked rhetorically,'what does the igbo want, who is governor of CBN and minister of state petrol'.The duo in reference are from the ss state of Delta and are by no means igbos of the SE zone.
In my opinion, the greatest obstacle to rapprochement between the PMB government and the South east zone is lack of inclusion-in the whole list of presidential prerogative appointments,service chiefs and police etc; DSP that they got by divine providence is a subject of vehement litigation. There is a rising feeling of outright disregard and mistrust of the SE by the President. The igbos of SE are so easy to please: just give them a 'sense of belonging' to this same Nigeria that we all believe is an indivisible entity, this was the only medicine Jonathan used to win their sheepish following.

IGBOS are the people resetting bubu brain,if not the mofo would have relocated Aso rock to daura with his level bigotry and divisive nature.

It's wrong to so aver that there's lack of support from the SE geo-political zone for PMB.

At the outset of the administration Igbo leaders were the first to visit Aso Rock to congratulate him and pledge their support to PMB. But the people from the other side of the country saw it as an avenue use their media outfits to hail insults upon insults on Igbos and their leaders.

Right now, what sort of appeasement can suffice for the numerous Igbo lives that have been killed and wasted by this administration?
