These two careers are not mutually exclusive. You can become a medical illustrator among other career options.

No other extracurriculars apart from fellowship matters.
I even dated only after school,but it was worth it tho.
I was an average student which is okay for medicine

Err, sorry if I'm crashing this party but in the spirit of sharing your kind of art, here's my passion - Origami. Origami is the ancient Japanese art of folding paper into 3-dimensional objects e.g flowers, animals, decorations, human figures, insects, birds etc...big ups to the art-doctor! keep it up bruv.... oh, by the way, I studied mechanical engineering but folding origami is more than just a hobby. it's a way of life. enjoy the awesomeness of origami y'all..cheers
