They want to remove the opposition so that they can do anything they want without questioning. I think removing the man is unhealthy for our young democracy. Ekweremmadu should be careful to avoid what happened to okadigbo. And if they try it... |

Is it because Ekweremadu is occupying the Deputy President seat of the Senate that Nigeria is wobbling and almost a failed state? Where were the APC chieftains when he was ELECTED into that position. You left a national issue as crucial as inaugurating the 8th Senate to attend a party whatever. Now you people want to remove him by all means. Let's see how that's gonna happen. Nonsense. |

Governors that can not pay workers are talking rubbish. How is that going to bring our economy out of recession and reduce inflation which 16.5%? These politicians are not serious. |

Rochas Okorocha is an unrepentant and callous criminal. He and his corrupt APC Govs are planning to replicate exactly what he has achieved in hois state Imo - (Buying all the House members over, killing the opposition in the house, and reducing the legislature in the state to his mere errand boys. Rochas you have failed. Rochas is talking about corruption; he remains the most corrupt Nigerian in politics today - reducing Imolites to the level of hungry and pitiable fellows. Where are the monies collected by Rochas Okorocha - Loan of N25B in December 2014 from Local Govt Accts, N26B Bailout from Buhari's Federal Govt, and an additional Bail-out money from the same Fed Govt recently. For the Local Govts in Imo State, none receives more than N5M from Rochas Okorochas out of the over N100M allocated to each local govt, while the gov pockets the remaining. All govt owned money making ventures - ITC, ADAPALM, Concorde Hotel, etc, have been fraudulently converted to 'Rochas Okorocha and Family Ent' all in the name of PPP. Currently, the wicked governor is on a 'destruction of the state' mission, destroying the high quality roads in the state capital, and replacing less than 2% of them with the worst road quality in the world - 'China road'. One would never see to the end construction of one kilometer of Rochas road, before potholes will fill up the whole of the starting points and all over. The local govt roads in the capital city are all in the worst state any road can be, yet Rochas is busy destroying the Good quality roads done by the previous administrations. All govt owned lands have also been coverted to 'Rochas Okorocha and Family Ent'. This fraudulent (419) Gov has no moral justification to even call anyone corrupt and it was so disgusting, having him talk aboiut fight against corruption. If the Federal govt claims to be fighting corruption and the likes of Rochas Okorocha is still a part of the fighting machinery, then Imolites and Nigerian should rather wake up and defend themselves by any mean possible. As it stands, the same Rochas has sold the site of the Acient Traditional Market of the Owerri-Nchi-Ise people to himself and him cronies, and is threatening the indigenous people of Owerri that he was relocating their only indigenous market to another community in another local government area of the state, hiding under the guise of attracting foreign investors in the community. What has even happened to the New Owerri Capital Territory, the New Govt House site in the New Owerri, the Owerri Ultra Modern International Market site, the well broadcasted Imo Monumental Hotel site, etc. All these sites have been forcefully taken by 'Rochas Okorocha & Family', leaving Imo state in the very worst financial state in the whole history of this country, while Rochas Okorocha and family are currently competing with the richest in the world. In all of these, where is the Imo State House of Assembly? No where. They can't even talk as anyone that speaks against the gov will be dealt with immediately. They can't even demand for their personal allowances, or pass any bill that will not be in the particular interest of the Rochas and his fraudulent intentions in the state - for self enrichment. We need a good National Assembly as it is now, and not a replication of the Rochas type of Assembly as evidenced in Imo State House of Assembly, where the Gov kneels down the house members and beats some of them at will, without any restrain. |

Is it that I don't understand what democratic politics means or that its right for a ruling party to have a meeting to remove an elected person from his office just because he doesn't belong to the party? |

It is not possible, because APC don't have a comfortable majority in the Senate house. Unless they plan to do in a jungle way. |

I'M a pro APC but this Rochas Okorocha behaviour towards his kinsman really baffles me.....How can Okorocha who is the chairman of the progressive governors forum that comprises about 22 state Governors be the main pioneer clamouring for the removal of an Ibo man that only manage to get the DSP seat,Sen.Ike prevented the SE from being relegated to the back yard in PMB government.....ROchas needs to learn from history....did he knows that no Ibo man has ever occupy the seat of president or v.p ever since democracy has returned to the nation right from 1999 till date.....The ibos were technically defeated from Nigeria politics as far back as 2007 till date there by scheming the third most popular tribe from the scheme of Nigeria politics.....to be frank and sincere did u think it is normal to be deny the seat of the president,v.p,s.p,speaker and AGF.....I know the northerners or sw will not take this if it were to be them....how can you scheme the ibos out of the first five most powerful citizen......let Okorocha have it in his mind that Apc and pdp will come and go but his kinsmen will always be there for him and If Rochas feels joining hands with Northerners to remove the only ranking Ibo man under Buhari's government his is main priority so be it#Rochas have this at the back of your mind that no Northerner ever clamoured for the removal of Tambuwal when he defected to Apc.....for your info....I am a true yoruba man but the truth must be told#put ur people first b4 any political party. |

The Buharian civilian dictatorship is saddled with cloud-headed technocrats. Its disinformation minister says "we have technically defeated Boko Haram". Its minister of childish finance says "we are technically in economic recession". As the minister of power is "technically" generating and distributing expensive darkness the minister of hard labour and unproductivity continues to "technically" supervise mass job losses. The president himself caps it all when he proposes to "technically" assist Germany to fight terrorism. Chai Chanjii! And all he's been doing these days was to be running after Saraki or Ekweremadu - This is his latest scheme to continuously make dumb moroNigerians dumber while the economy and the country slides into economic chaos. Buhari is a disgrace to democracy. |

Lol.....that is one of the greatest mistake Uncle Jonathan ever made by preventing the Yorubas from being represented during his reign as a president and that is why he lose heavily in the Sw during the last presidential election But that does not mean okorocha an Ibo man should be the one spearding and clamouring for Sen.Ike removal.....did you know the ibos were retired from becoming one of the top 5 Nigeria most powerful citizen and only for them to be compesated with NASS deputies in both chamber right from 2007 till date and yet they never complain, did u think an hausa-fulani man will ever take what the ibos are taking in Nigeria politics......PMB is the Nigeria president and not APC president. |
