x = 66

Bro , 66 cos the bird says we(x) need(+) half of us (x/2) + you (1) to be (=) 100

then 66 + 1 = 67 to get the total number of birds flying

Other group of birds flying =x

How many birds were flying = x+1 ........ (a)

But note: x + x/2 + 1=100

Solve for x =66

Substitute in (a) above


66+1=67.
