We had just come back from Christmas vigil mass and my younger sister was still jealous of my Christmas cloth. She deliberately splashed water on me and in the spirit of the season I let it pass but then on getting to the room my youngest sister grinning wickedly told me I had poster color splash on my gown. Ah I no even think am I just rushed my younger sister with the intention of spoiling her watch (which she didn't even know I was admiring). Popsy always spoiling my market nah caught me midway and promised I could play mavis beacon all day if I didn't beat her.
Oh well I went back to UnCloth and it wasn't poster color. Thanks to Always and their yearly visit to my school. I was prepared.

saw mine at age10, mum said when U sit close to a man, U will get pregnant, that fear was in me all thru my secondary education, I only sat with girls, whenever a boy came around to sit with me, I become d reigning Usain Bolt. the first time I was introduced to a sanitary pad I thought it was bread. Years have gone by, I can't forget d experience.

well for me i was in a boaeding school when mine started at the age of 15, i started late due to hormonal imbalance. As usual i sneeked out of school to my granny's and i was using the toilet when i found myself bleeding, my granny had travelled to another state then but i knew those clothes where she keeps her money so i took some money and gave her a call. not knowing my mom was with her. i informed her (granny) about what happened and she told me she has been worriedly waiting, so she had to come back as soon as she was done with whatever she was doing. Although there was no special ceremony or treatment for me but i just feel sick a day after it started and i spent more than 2 weeks getting injections that made me drag my legs to walk , then after that i began to see mine every 4 moths which later disapperaed for more than 3 years and latter siezed for every 4 months and now getting regular. grin

My experience was different. I already knew what it was before i saw mine and that was because of always. They came to my sec school then to educate girls, it was a mixed public sec school. I was in jss3 when they came. I saw mine in ss1 i was 14yrs. I am just glad it happened at home one cold early morning while i was preparing to go to school.
The first experience i had with it was in pry6. One of my older class mate refused to stand up im class when she was called when i saw the blood i was scared. I thought she had a miscarriage.
No body told me about it. I even asked an older friend but she refused to tell me.
Even my mama no educate me.
Seriously always did a good job then.

mine started after my JSS3 exam. Went to rake my bath and saw the stuff. Called my elder brother while mum was at home. Mum could be so strict. My elder brother told her. Then the warnings began. It was my dad that counselled me. Then the monitoring began. lol.

I was 13+when I saw mine I didn't want to tell my mum cos I was shy and thought I was too young for it but when the cramps started nobody told me to tell her immediately

I have a qstn for the house;

As a guy if I see any lady that has stain...is it advisable for me to inform her?? Have seen ladies with stain many times but I don't always feel comfortable informing them cos I Don't know how they will feel about it.

The last one I experienced was last week Friday during a church program, one beautiful woman was siting pretty beside my younger sister. As I moved closer to do some lawayi with my sister, I just saw the blood stain on sit I had to turn back. It was later when she wanted to sit that she noticed.

Please kindly advise me incase I see sth of such later is it good for me as a guy to call the ladie's attention to it?

Mine was celebrated,i guess thats how ikale people do it,my mum after seeing it and cleaned me,she then danced around me,sang,,prayed for my womanhood,and slaughtered big chicken for me and gave advices lorishirisi. Afterwards i was circumcised

I will be embarrassed,then thank the guy. After that I will make sure I look for a possible solution at that point I.e look for a scarf or cardigan to tie around my waist so as to avoid more embarrassment(more people telling me about it)

My story, no much knowledge about it from my mum. Just from biology stuff and a close friend of mine back in JSS1 days. She started her own in JSS1. I used to see her as . Then in JSS2, I started my own. It was during school period. I went to 'weewee' and I saw blood on my pant with painful 'pains' that landed me in hospital the second day. I was really scared ooo. I checked if it was a 'wound'. On getting home, I told my mum and guess what? She was so angry. She said I was too young to see 'it'. It was as if na me call am oo. Then she scared me of 'if a man touch you, you will get preggy and end up selling pepper '

I will start 'female' discussion with my daughters as soon as possible
