I used the "ring" type back in the day as a university bobo. I noticed that if "NEPA" "takes off the light" the thing remained hot for a long time; in fact, five minutes of plugging could cook your rice. I would like to know if that applies to the other type, the one that doesn't have a ring. Does it retain heat?

Thank you.

Yes it does. Those ones with glass tops and either single or double. I use one at home. Just make sure you don't leave anything on top once you're done cooking else it'll burn!

Lol. No, I haven't got round to any semo yet, as I'm busy moving into a new apartment and setting up a kitchen.

Yea, typing on social media can be challenging, with the speed, small keypad and all. Not an English teacher, but my work is English-related.

I spent the money o, lol. You know expenses will always come up. I'll save up for it again. This time will make my findings and be armed with enough info before going to buy. As for the learning things, I think I can get that done when I have a laptop

Good idea about making findings. I bought my present one from my now former workplace when they needed to get rid of it. You know, since I had operated it, I knew it's condition. It's almost due for replacement now.

If we lived in nearby hoods, you could've borrowed my spare system for the learning, though.
