Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has joined Turkish SuperLig side Trabzonspor after six years at the Rome based side Lazio.

The midfielder signed a four year deal with the Turkish side after a routine medical.

23 year old Onazi, has long been linked with a summer switch away from Lazio due to limited playing time, no thanks to an injury he picked up at the World Cup in Brazil just before the start of the 2014/2015 season which cost him his spot at the team.

The Nigerian made a total of 76 league appearances for Lazio, with most of it coming in the 2013/2014 season when he made 29 appearances in the Serie A.

Congratulating him on his move,Super Eagles defender Omeruo via Instagram wrote....
