1. JOBLESSNESS

This tops the list.Sad to say but a sizeable chunk of the Nairaland popolace are jobless(not all though)--due to the scarcity of jobs in the country! So they lie in wait all day for controversial threads or they create several threads to defame and sometimes slut-shame some female nairalanders! Please get a job na..Any work na work

2.POPULARITY

These days everybody on NL wants to become a "popular jingo" They jump upandan on every thread threatening Hell,fire and brimstone but in *Real life* They are gentle as a dove.If u slap them they might even start crying but when they login to Nairaland they believe they are the "king of the new school" The "Sunday Dagboru's" I smh for you!

3.TO SHOWCASE TALENT

The profrssor-emeritus The Chinua Achebes ..All they ever do is speak grammars that even Einstein can't decipher.You only find them on controversial threads saying all sorts of gibberish that u can never understand except u consult the dictionary. Some people will keep on "liking" their epistle of grammatical gibberish without even understanding what it means

4.FOR "SUPPOSED FUN"

Some people create threads to defame other people for the "fun" of it.Some of them create several monikers to defame and slut-shame young female nairalanders. They feel like "commandos" after cyber-bullying females.Men that should be married with kids smh
