Telecommunications giant, Globacom says its subscribers nationwide can start to enjoy 3GB of data for just N500 during weekends.

This is coming as the firm unveils a new data tariff called TGIF.

According to a statement released from its headquarters in Lagos and made available to the media, “This unbeatable offer will be available to Glo customers from 12:01 am every Saturday morning to Sunday evening at 11:59pm.

The company explained that subscribers should select ‘Buy Data’ on the menu and then pick ‘Night and Weekend Plan’ which is number 7 on the next menu page.

Globacom stated that when the menu opens to the ‘Night and Weekend plans’, subscribers should pick option 2 on the last menu which reads “N500 = 3GB for Sat and Sun.

“This is simply designed to meet the expectations of subscribers who download and upload a lot of content during weekends. We have observed that subscribers have the time to do heavy browsing on weekends, hence the TGIF bundle is designed to meet that demand”, Globacom added.

They didn't state whether the 3GB will last for a month (four weekends) or just one weekend. If the latter is the case, it means that one will be spending N500 on data for two days.
We need smth better than all these ''give one, take two'' that these network providers are doing us.

Which gsm company is called Glo? Or you meant to say "Slow"? This poo gsm company would sell you data you would never get to use due to their poo (poor) network signals nationwide. If you have anger management issues, I advise you to flush your Glo sim down the drain, before you end up smashing your device...



PS: I know some people would say "Haba! Glo is ok in my area o!" And my question to you is: "so we now all have to move to your area before we can browse"?

I did these plan it was cool.it is not just a weekend plan it is a 7days plan,during d weekdays it works 4m 12am till 5am and weekends 4m saturday 12am till sunday 11.59pm but later I migrated to airtel

But you got it wrong this time. Instead of wasting #500 for just 2days sub.
I would rather go for that mtn yeye "wow weekend".
And moreso, you network is as fast as snail.

Even if they give me unlimited data for free I won't use.
They should work on their network strength and quality first.

Let them sort out their connectivity and network speed issues first, or else me just gonna stay loyal to MTN.

If you're one of those who always struggle to be FTC or to be on front page, better stay loyal to ur MTN or etisalat.
