Looks like we are starting with 4-3-3. And if we are, then we are going into the season with a 4-3-3. If that's the case, then my respect for Conte has gone up a notch. It means he's a fast learner, very adaptable and quick to change. If he's able to convince the players that these changes don't mean some formations are bad, only that they are required for certain situations, then he is a top manager.

Kante is unbelievable in the middle. No one on this team can do what he does. Matic messing up again.

I don't want to jinx anything but this Hazard is sharp. If he goes into the season this way, we have a new signing. William on the other hand is just ordinary.

In defensive formations at times, Matic fell back to sit beside Kante. Those were the moments that may have confused the main set up as a 4-2-3-1. Actually, Oscar was playing on the right of midfield and Matic on the left. Fabregas has replaced Matic now in the same set-up - 4-1-4-1 and 4-3-3 in defensive formation.

Kante is a beast.
