This shit can't happen in Enugu, obodo oyinbo anyi.

It will not only happen in Enugu, it will also happen in Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja and every other city and town in our country.
Why?
The fact is that these cities and towns have not EMPLOYED town planners, geologists and other environmental specialists to establish standards.
Even when and where standards are established, bribery and corruption will ensure that they are not followed.

End time flood.

Destructive floods are mostly caused by either no drainage system or poor drainage management.

When you build roads without drainage.

Kano is one of the most dirtiest state in Nigeria. They throw trash into drainage during heavy downpour

Useless

God gave us brains like He gave the oyinbos.
He also gave us the freedom to use our brains as we want, not so?
Why should He have mercy on His people who have decided not to use their brains?
Is that how you have mercy on a child that is not performing despite all your investment in her education and training?
Is that wise?
If you are expecting God to have mercy on us who have decided not to use our brains, are you implying that God is not wise?

You see, you should have read my comment carefully. I did acknowledge that some parts of the South are like that. I only cautioned his generalization. Because I've been in Awka for a year now and rain doesn't fall as often as he made it sound.

Someone even mentioned me claiming that rain falls everyday in Awka. What a blatant lie. If just half the rain that falls in my place falls here, especially in August, I am sure the whole of Awka would have been overran by now. Since the beginning of August, rain only fell in Awka this past Friday. Yet someone is saying that it does everyday. Lol.

Is that even possible? Don't always take words at face value. What I implied is that rain doesn't fall as often as he made it sound. 'least not in Anambra or Enugu.

It cannot happen in Enugu probably due to the topography of the area. But it can happen to anywhere especially these days that Nigerians are behaving like animals using dirts to block drainage and building on water ways. I think strict penalty should be dished out to those performing this babaric act to serve as deterant to others.

I've seen it in my dream, God of lightening will kill people with lightening and fload in some part of Nigeria but it will only last for sometimes before moving to Asian countries where it will be more serious because so many people will die but if only they can pray and beg for mercy of God. It won't take too long for it to stop. God is the controller of all things
