Probably more to do with lack of sports development in Nigeria. You'd have expected there to be other table tennis players who've got better than Toriola in the last 10 years!

That Segun is two old for all I care. 40yrs. And you want to compete with a teenager. And am very sure it's an official age. I will not be surprised to see the same guy in Tokyo. He would have been better a coach.

Nigeria is a funny country. I would not surprised to hear that there younger people who are better than this old man. But they will drop them due to tribalism or something else.

considering the last two sets which he lost 11-6, 11-1,
I find it difficult to accept he can loose 11-1 on a good day
Though he is a Pro, I sense the anxiety of "I am loosing" must have affected him,

just like what we sometimes feel when writing examinations, with more to write but less time left, one may forget some points or one may loose control of ones hands, finding it difficult to even write anything

The man is over 50 years. He has tried so much, he's has been playing since 1980. What kind of country is this. No young chap could be trained to do this.
They won't allow the younger ones to advance. I believe we have better and young talented players in this country who can do this even better. We as so Parochial!!
