The most painful thing is that, they have escaped the kidnapper with their red amour tank. even they used that amour tank to wound one okader man, destroy his ride and put him in there van. And mopol have being mobilize from osogbo , forming ANOD everywhere. tho they should enjoy there stay when it last, nah those police I pity most coz ppl will kill alot of them by this ending during egungun festival coming on 26 and 27. I'm sorry to hear but this was caused but Nigerians trying to take the law into their own hands.
Mob mentality prevails in a primitive society, how are they sure she was a kidnapper? Because someone said so? Have they seen the evidence?
You hear there is a kidnapper in the palace, you don't know the story but you carry your cutlas and storm the palace in order to kill the person. So what if you find out its your relative, will you still be shouting for blood? Aren't they entitled to a fair hearing? Isn't it possible they might have been framed?
Everyone deserves justice even a murderer but in the hands of the law and not the hands of a baying mob.

I'm sure the police were not expecting to be ambushed by a mob so they probably went in small numbers. After all why should picking up a suspect require a 100 man squad of riot control police.
What should have been a simple case of picking up a suspect for interrogation and them being charged to court if there is ample evidence with witnesses etc turned into a blood bath because of a barbaric crowd and people are blaming the police. I'm sure the crowd tried to wrest the suspect from the custody of the police and Oba in the palace and hence the ensuing chaos.

No sympathy I'm afraid, they shouldn't have taken the law into their own hands.
Meanwhile who is the rat in the palace who went out to leak palace business? The Oba should watch his back, his household isn't trustworthy

Do u believe that live bullet was not the best thing the police could have use to disperse that crowd? What happened to rubber bullets and tear gases?
