I think this one is called echolocation.

The other eye watches out for predators and this is thanks to one-half of the brain being active.

I was shocked the day I found out about this one. I mean, why call it a 'whale' instead of killer dolphin?

Then again, if I could remember correctly, they move in a 'school' and this is particularly good as this helps protect the vulnerable among them like the pregnant ones and infants.

Modified: There is also this argument about the dolphin using 20% of its brain which has made it evolve into using those features and being intelligent. Some say it is a myth just like humans utilizing only 10% of their brains.
