APC is getting so much flak because it was unreasonable in its criticism while in the opposition. if the govt has to borrow (& spend wisely) to get the country out of recession, so be it. but do so quickly & put a check on the hardship. get the necessary experts, implement cogent policies, admit your errors when you have to, stop the blame game, reconcile the country. do not be ashamed to admit the work done by your predecessor, acknowledge the good works, embrace it & build on it. |

Buhari have lost it at last. It is obvious that the man is confused and clueless about the way forward for Nigeria's economy. He should constitute an economic team ASAP to tinker with this almost comatose economy. |

I'm lost here. I thought they floated the dead currency a la toilet paper cos of investors...so why do they need to borrow again for investment? Lol Methinks she has been compromised by the illiterates she's surrounded by. She needs to resign and leave the sinking ship before it destroys her CV. There's no hope for the government and it's going to get worse, especially with the toilet paper currency floating everywhere and lack of proper fiscal/economic policies. The interest rates are already extremely high and that should wipe out a lot of SMEs and slowly wipe out the "middle class". And that right there is a hole Naij won't get out of for at least a decade. Run for your life lol. |

989900E:ben murray bruce once made this exact same suggestion months ago..but like you wrote this present administration has a knack for making simple procedures turn into rocket science...buharis one track aim was to recover loots...how in the world was he planning to achieve that to fund our budget without thinking of other means to achieve the budget objectives...?? |

hucienda:Exactly my thoughts. Bush pulled down USA economical but when Obama came in, I never heard him tell the world that they have to borrow but we know America are still in debts now Our present leaders need to be mindful of the way they use words on air, because it scares foreign inputs and even cause chaos for marketers. |

My issues with Nigerians is they are gullible and pessimistic in their reasoning. Instead of working to destroy the hegemony of a bloated political system, they are busy shouting buhari and Jonathan. It high time we think straight and tackle the issues than remain bigots. My 10kobo baresywood: |
