I dont believe discovery of Oil in the North will break this country up.. But it will open up everybody to the issue of restructing and true federalism..


I hope they do.. The North will teach the South what to do with Oil and its proceeds.


Something tells me they will find oil.. Wether it would be in commercial quantity is a different concern.

Did u not see where i mentioned federal level in my post? Gosh my state gov lga chairman senators etc handle the 13 percent which I'd admit was wasted as the thread claimed . Now lets deal with the 87 percent controlled by federal gov. Which of my people was among the federal gov handling the 87 percent that i want u to account for or is it just to throw 13% the only thing federal govt can do that's that's like compensation how has the fg so well manage the 87 in carrying out project in nd as i speak bayelsa has no federal secretariat is that nddc' job to do? This is a big lie. The vegetation behind reveals it all. This is tropical rain-forest or mangrove rain-forest. The North-East is Semi-arid desert or Ari desert. Unless the news source has not gotten the real picture, but this picture is not from the north-east!

Wat am saying is if fg has been that good manager as u guys claim then the nddc , nd ministry would not have been necessary in the first place they came into being cos fg could not do it well . Yes they followed fg footstep cos the holders see it as appointment when u restructure there wont be need for it even if it still there the people will treat it well and guard it as their own and if its managers mess up he is thrown out but currently its seen as a federal job and handled with non challance as no be my papa work but let the states or region appoint they will see it as my pikin future and u will see them commission lots of projects cos money comes in directly to them . That is not say there wont be problem but it will be limited and can easily be checked
