Job description
We are looking for an IT manager to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs. The successful candidate will have improved skills, a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes.
Responsibilities
• Write, update and maintain Internet and intranet web pages.
• Act as a web page liaison.
• Confer with members of staff to clarify purpose and requirements for web pages, work closely with departments to access their needs and objectives in the development of web content and functionality.
• Assure that web pages maintain an appealing flow and uniformity to the firm’s standard.
• Monitor Web Developer email and route as appropriate.
• Provide support, one-on-one training and services to members of staff.
• Installing and configuring computer system.
• Diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
• Train members of staff.
• Provide technical support.
• Support staff queries.
• Monitor system use.
• Set up user account.
• Manage back up.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills
• Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
• Expertise in data centre management and data governance
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Understanding of complex information and requirements
• Great IT skills combined with a good head for business
• An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints
Qualification
• BSc in Computer Science
• 2 – 5 years experience
• 25 – 35 years of Age
Remuneration
• Between N60, 000 – N80, 000

so how did the interview go.

Twas OK, nothing was unusual, panel of 3 (2guys, 1 lady) from my guess, the 2nd guy was brought in as an IT guru to access competence. We were 4 that attended, approximately 20 mins with each candidate. And from what the oga at the top said; 'all the candidates have been awesome!'
