There are reasons to doubt Nigeria's 500 billion dollars claim. Nigeria is a very corrupt country and records are not properly kept. A reasonable GDP would be 200 billion dollars . If South Africa's GDP is 350 billion, I find it difficult to believe Nigeria's GDP is 500 billion dollars.

If you 'r compairing Nigeria economy & South Africa economy, it means you don't really know the meaning of GDP

Don't show ignorance please.There's a big difference between "biggest economy" and "best economy" because bigger size does not automatically equal "quality".Your "Best economy" is without constant power,it often has fuel shortages,it has filthy slums,chaotic streets and litter all over.Besides your economic growth has slowed down sharply and the Naira has been devalued bigtime- hows that a "best economy" ??

I'd rather live in Kigali,Rwanda or Port Louis Mauritius with their well developed infrastructure,cleaner neighbourhoods,constant power,more safety ,stable curencies and more orderly life than the chaos and big mess of Lagos.

Lagos GDP is 90 billion dollars . Oklahoma city GDP is 90 Billion dollars and is the 45th largest economy in the US . So Lagos economy is competing with Oklahoma city. I find it appalling when you try to compare Lagos and New York by posting propaganda videos on youtube saying Lagos is Africa's big Apple . Listen my friend,Nigeria is not giant but only has a large population. Nigeria is neither the largest geographically,nor the most developed . Have you been to Botswana,Namibia,South Africa,Tunisia,Morocco,Ethiopia,Angola,Kenya,Mauritius?
Even when Eko atlantic is completed,Nigeria will still not be considered developed because the eKo atlantic is just 2500 acres of reclaimed land .

Lagos state size is just 3500 Km2 . My good friend,below are sizes of some other cities (Seattle =18,209.3 km2 , Atlanta = 21,694 km2, Oklahoma city = 16,209.3 km2)

That Lagos GDP of $90bn no longer even holds true because the Naira has been devalued by some 40% so thats a factual dishonesty too.
