i watched that game last night and felt like crying...D'tigers got better with every game but they woke up rather late. They did performed better than they did against Lithuania. That Pal Gasol guy of Spain was the one who actually dashed our dream of winning that game. all good tho...

Why would we compare our basketball level to these European teams?...we are even lucky to get this close.... They play all play standard all year round basket ball leagues, tournaments and all... These naija players who came together to pull these results tried a lot!

The boys played well but I was sad . They needed to work on their defence. If they had someone who could drive in a win some fouls, it would have been a different story.

I must say a big kudos to our basketball team. They did quite well and their quality and standard of play was quite high. They gave their best in the 3 games they have played thus far. Their margin of loss was slim in the games they played with Lithuania and Spain. Mind you these countries and power house in basketball in Europe.

The standard of basketball games in this Olympic is quite high. Australia almost defeated USA in their basket ball game on Tuesday. If not for the 3 points ability of Carmelo Anthony, Australia would have gotten away with a win.

if this tempo is maintained we will be able to rival and outperform Angola, Senegal and Tunisia in FIBA Africa.

Since this olympic started, na just losing losing we dey do. Abeg make una just come back except for that lady that rows...

Gasol is aa big name player. A very good basketballer, and plays in the NBA.

Well guys you have done your best just pity uou all for even going to that Olympic under this kind of govt we have in Nigeria where only what interest the bad lucky taller than wisdom leader is to arrest people using his boyscout EFCC and shout corruption every other things are not important.

I have said it and I'm still saying base on 1984 information when the "taller than senses leader" was a president Nigeria was a shadow in virtually everything was wrong then and if this bad luck man is not sent packing in the next 2 to 3 years Nigeria will be gone even country like Somalia will be much better in qaulities of life than Nigeria quote me wrongly to your own peril.

Watched the game and I can say I was impressed with their performance. We only need to correct a few things and we are good. We missed some free throws, three pointers as well as rebounds. The coach should work on those areas.

I won't blame d team Nigeria due to d circumstance dey found their selves in d aspect of preparation before d olympics

Anyone who was awake last night to watch this match will agree With me that the the nigerian team tried and made us proud...they practically frustrated Spain team all through the game to a point those guys were purposely fouling our guys.

I don't give a hoot about the final results but the nigerian team really trashed Spain who are acclaimed to be No. 2 team in FIBA.

The nigerian team was way better than the Spain team. .just that they lacked confidence and coordination amongst themselves in the first quarter.

Team Nigeria basketball 4eva. I was impressed with their improvement. DEM BOYZ ARE SO GOOD NOW!
