Recovery work on the Calabar-Itu Road undertaken by NDDC has commenced... Four firms are simultaneously on it. This is deliberate and meant to maximize time. Section one of the road covers Ikot- Ekpene to Itu Bridge. Contractor is Atafranc Nigeria Limited. Section two - Itu Bridge to Okuruikand Junction. Contractor is Darycet International Nigeria Limited. Section three - Okuruikang Junction to Odukpani Junction. Base Engineer Limited is the contractor. Section four - Odukpani Junction to Tinapa Junction. Zenith Construction Limited is at work. Ag. MD/CEO, Chief (Mrs.) Ibim Semenitari, Eleru of Ifon kingdom, Ondo State, had undertaken a recovery visit to the collapsed road on Sunday, August 7, with a commitment to expedited action.

I know some people gonna get hypertension with this news like the one directly above me. Gej spent 2 years as vice president and 5 as president without any tangible achievement even as oil was selling at over 100dollars. Tell me the situation of his mega campaign promise '2nd niger bridge'. I get to understand wailers better now but it is either u support or continue ur wailing cos if u are waiting to displace bubu, u are only wasting ur time.

I can smell the bitterness of some folks here even. Even the physically challenge people are thanking God that they are happy compared to this backward set of people claiming they are wailers.

I really hate the poor maintenance culture we practice in this country, I commend NDDC for taking this step, as a matter of fact I think the government shouldn't have waited for this road to deteriorate to this extent.

Too much noise of this administration is becoming a threat to our democracy.
Every time you hear news like: - Fed. govt is to begin payment of this... all na wash - Fed. govt is to resume work on... all na wash - Fed. govt is to reopen a case of ... all na wash - Looters on the run as Fed. govt has begins probe... all na smoke. - Fear has grip ministry of this as Efcc may visit... all na smoke. we are tired of noise all we need is action.

if they like 2019 we will still vote them in again ....
