Why use the word "free"? Were they expecting them to pay for surgery before? Are they not paid by government to discharge duties when called upon? When government does its responsibilities to her citizens, it becomes a favor. |

mesoprogress:Doctors in Territory hospitals are also paid by the government to discharge their duties but the institution charges patients for these things. These payments are not even done in cash, you pay into the hospitals account and show em the receipt. Healthcare (unfortunately) is not free and them calling it free is correct |

Mynd44:I get your point, however, these are IDPs. If I as an individual offer them any services, I don't expect anything in return from them. They are assumed jobless. What they did is laudable, but the "free" word is not needed. It's like saying "I gave or donated food stuff to IDPs for free. Doesn't sound right. my personal opinion |
