EFe Ajagba lost to Dychko Ivan of Kazakhstan 3-0 at the quarter final stage in the 91kg category this evening.

Correction, was not 3-0 but 2-1. He was the better man but he had only one problem. His coaching staff, didn't help him at all

Its so painful to see him lose. From my own view, he was d better of d two but Ivan Dychko was just targeting his face..

Ever since the head guards were introduced in the Olympics, and boxers had to rely more on the judges for victory, African boxers were doomed. In-spite of the head-guards, however, knock-outs can be achieved by mistake. Our man had the right idea when he knocked out the first opposition. The trick for Nigerian boxing in future Olympics is to train to deliberately knock out the opposition. Forget all that points nonsense and special jabbing technic - I've watched African boxers huff and puff and boxed their heart out and yet receive nadir from the judges. Nigerian boxers should train how to achieve knock outs or force the count on the opposition.
